George McGlashan Kerr (1874-1950) was a missionary for the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society, working in Hyderabad, India. He was born in Aberdeen and volunteered for missionary work in Africa after meeting Robert Laws. He trained in Manchester and was appointed to Southern Rhodesia in 1900, but soon returned home. He married Isabel Gunn (1875-1932) in 1903, and the couple went to Hyderabad in 1907 after a period of ministry in the United Kingdom. Kerr worked as as a superintendent in an ind...
